![]() I appreciate any help that anyone can offer. I amĪble to login to my Windows 8 installation and that is operating normally. That was done a year ago and has never caused any problems. ![]() I installed it while Windows 10 was already on the computer. However Windows 8 was not a previous installation. This Lenovo laptop also has windows 8.1 installed on it as well. It said there is nothing to rollback to and for restore it said I have no restore points even though I know that I have also tried to rollback and restore. I was able to use DOS to look at the drive and it shows my desktop with all the folders I have. ![]() When I try to open the recycle bin I get an error message: Explorer.EXE An attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist. ![]() I then can close the error message and I'm left with the recycle bin (which I can't open) and what looks like the startīutton but nothing happens when I right or left click on that. After logging into my account I get this message: c:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\desktop is not accessible access is denied. ![]()
